Getting My Fourth of July Spirit On!

Getting My Fourth of July Spirit On!

Shoes- Converse

Flower Headband- Free People

As you can see I'm wearing red. white and blue except my shoes are more of a beige. Fourth of July is in 4 days, where has the year gone! Anyways, I thought it would be fun to put a red, white and blue outfit together showing my new items. I got the Zara skort two weeks ago but there's a sale at Zara right now, so they could be sold out. They're way more comfy then I thought they'd be and can go with a lot of tops. The Skort also has pockets, score! I just got the Free People top a few days ago and it's also super comfy. I can also tie the bottom, of the top which leaves a cool effect. I also the blue and white sleeves!  My shoe's are beige but have red and blue in them. I got them at the Converse outlet a year ago and i've gotten numerous compliments on them. (They were 30 bucks, the converse outlet has way more styles then Nordstrom, and they're cheaper!) I love the Free People headband, but I never really wear except camp or dress up. It would be great for Glastonbury. ( I wish could have gone :((( )

Sadly it's Monday. Nobody likes Mondays. Cheer you're monday up with listening to you're summer playlist or better yet check mine out, on my Summer Essentials post!

Purse Obsession Diaries : Coach Borough

Purse Obsession Diaries: Coach Borough

Jessica Alba with Jason Kennedy, with regular borough bag
 Mini Borough Bag

Karlie Kloss with regular borough bag
Sarah Jessica Parker with regular borough bag

This bag has been out for about six months now, and I have been obsessed with it ever since I ever saw it. It's not your typical Coach bag with the logo, its very structured and sophisticated looks way more high end then Coach usually is. Coach just announced that they are closing 70 stores in the next year and their new creative director is making a lot of changes. He wants to make the brand more high end.  The material of the bag is pebble leather and the mini goes for 378, which is a lot for usual Coach purses. They have the mini, regular, large and crossbody, each go up about 200 each. Also depending on the material now, there's metallic, pebble leather, retro glove leather, embossed leather and edgepaint leather. Each purse has a crossbody strap and two handles. Also they're three large zipper compartments. It's a great bag for any age!

Street Style Favorites

Street Style Favorites

Hanneli Mustaparta http://www.hanneli.com/
I love her style because she tries new things even if some people don't like the style. It always turns out looking amazing. I also love how Hanneli puts vintage pieces with new pieces.

Aimee always rocks the best looks with color. She never just wears black or brown, there's always at least 3 colors in her outfits. She puts things together really well, like those blue shorts with the aqua and brownish/orange blazer, I would never think of wearing them together but it obviously works.

One day Zendaya is refined like this jean romper and the next she will be a mini Beyonce. No matter what, she is always up with the latest trends and never disappoints. Whether its walking the red carpet or recording in the studio she knows how to impress.

Like Aimee Song, Jamie wears a lot of colors, which I really like. Also, Jamie wears a lot of long skirts which she styles great, like in this picture. In a bunch of her looks she wears heels, which makes her look really tall and makes the outfit look even better!

Danielle Bernstein http://weworewhat.com/
If you read my other post, Danielle was my fashion idol of the week so you know I love her style. Like Hanneli, she not afraid to try to new styles because basically every time they turn out awesome. She always looks super put together even if you don't think the pieces go together, they always look good on Danielle!

Longsleeve MJ top- Lf Stores http://www.lfstores.com/

Bag- Henri Bendel http://www.henribendel.com/

Happy Thursday! Congrats, its almost the weekend! For tonights post, I thought I'd put together a bunch of my fave items in my closet. First of all, how cool is this Michael Jackson top. I mean c'mon. Plus it is the most comfy thing ever! LF has so many tops like this and although they are expensive, in the end its worth it because I wear it a lot and stays in good condition through washes. (I've had it for over a year) The Forever 21 skirt is a must have. It's 10 dollars and trust it will come in handy. You can dress it down with a sweater or dress it up with a blouse and necklace. The Henri Bendel bag was also a steal because I got it on sale and used it everyday for a month. (I still use it though, I was just trying to show emphasis on how great a bag it is) The shoes are another story. Originally, I wanted to Nike Air Max 90's version but they were sold out every where. Luckily I found these Nike Air Max Thea (2013 Verison of Air Maxes) at Bloomingdales. They also have the Thea's in many colors and patterns now. I love how I can wear sneakers with a skirt, it makes the skirt more casual so I could be going for lunch but I think the red lipstick shows I could also be going to city for dinner or going to a concert. The lipstick is an accessory in its own.

Really enjoying Graduation, you should go listen to it. Ya, right now!

Reformation never disappoints me! Although I've never actually been to the store yet, I already know I'm going to love it. Reformation has stores in New York City and Los Angeles. From reading numerous articles and reviews the clothes fit really well and are very sustainable. Also everything in the store in under 300 dollars. Which is pretty good considering the clothes are made very well and materials are great quality. I love the style of Reformation because it has a 90's vibe that everyone wants to pull off at the moment, it has great dress mini, midi and maxi and plenty of matching separates! You can find something for every day or something to wear to a formal event. I can barely wait to get to NYC, so I can finally go to Reformation! (there will be pictures)

10. Tennis Court by Lorde (Cymbol 303 Remix) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGyIHVS2ouU

Hope everyones day was swell. Just watched the movie "Class (1983)" with the fetus Andrew McCarthy, Rob Lowe, John Cusack and Alan Ruck. It was a classic 80's movie where cute boys did stupid things. Plus it was taking place at a prep school on the North Shore and filmed in Lake Forest. Like every other successful "80's movie", Ferris Bueller, The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles. I think you get the point. Night night and remember don't let the bed bugs bite!

Fashion Idol of The Week: Danielle Bernstein of WeWoreWhat

Fashion Idol of The Week : Danielle Bernstein of WeWoreWhat

I basically check her blog every single day because she always has the best trendsetting outfits! I love her style because she takes vintage items and mixes them with new designer clothes or accessories. She also doesn't just wear the most expensive stuff, the items on WeWoreWhat have a broad price range so you can copy her style without breaking the bank. Her style is very unique without looking ridiculous especially with the colors she wears and the materials like leather, fur and suede. Since she has amazing taste in clothing, her latest collaboration with Addison is amazing. I hope when I'm her age, my style and blog will be just as trendsetting and successful as hers!

Purse Obsession Diaries: Givenchy Antigona

Purse Obsession Diaries: Givenchy Antigona

Ever since this bag came out, I haven't stop thinking about it! (and its been out for a couple years now) If I could have any bag in the world for the rest of my life, no doubt it would be the Givenchy Antigona! I mean, look it, its structured, comes in all shapes, sizes, materials and colors. Plus, it literally looks good with anything from going to the gym to sitting front row at Fashion Week. Like every other bag I'm obsessed with, it has the "It" factor. This is the perfect purse for every age. For example Olivia Palermo to Kris Jenner. Unfortunately the Antigona price range is 1500- 3000 dollars based on the size and material. Obviously not ideal for a teen like me but the first bag I buy when I'm an adult will definitely be the Antigona because I know it will be a timeless classic.

Night on the Town: Boho Chic

Night On The Town: Boho Chic

Earring Cuff:  Francesca's

This is one of my favorite looks! The Romper is incredibly comfortable and the print is so unique! There is a drawstring so its very easy to adjust. I think the fringe crossbody goes great because goes with everything and helps bring out the Boho look I was going for. Also the leather makes it chic! As with the shoes, they go with anything and the heel isn't too high so they're very easy to walk in. I think the ear cuff is a great accessory to pull the outfit together! In other news, this day has been so boring but I walked to lunch with a friend and got some good designs in today. Can't wait to finish this collection, I think it's going to turn out great! Hopefully tomorrow will be more eventful :)
