New York Fashion Week: Day 1 Favorite Looks

 
Mercedes Fashion Week New York 2014: Day 1 Favorite Looks
aka wish I could be there but of course I'm stuck at school

          

1. Creatures of Comfort; blue plaid high waisted pants with belt and pink open turtle neck. A red and blue mini jacket.

2. BCBG Max Azria; long pinstripe bomber jacket, black pantent boots, orange blouse, leather skirt with slit and caged on the side.

3. Cynthia Rowley; brown knee high boots, red dress with flounce drop waist and turtleneck, baby blue neoprene bomber jacket with fur hood.

4. Wildfox Couture, white long maxi skirt, black and white sweatshirt with "ello" and black lace up boots. This is what I call a real "Wildfox Girl". 

5. Creatures of Comfort; plaid tailored blazer with matching skirt and slit in the middle with a nude slip and black patent boots.

MSGM PREFALL 14' aka my new favorite designer

When I first saw collections of MSGM on www.ssense.com I was instantly attracted to the vidid graphics and grunge style with preppy flairs. I would totally define my style like that. If I could afford MGSM, I would totally buy the whole collection. Here are a few of my favorite looks from Pre-Fall 2014. (maybe a couple more than a few) Enjoy!
                        
 1. Bomber jack with eye and metallic skirt. Sweater with saying, "Truth Beauty" (Is MSGM trying to tell us something here?)

                                                

  2. Again here is the Truth Beauty sweater with a white silk skirt with blue lips that look like Lady Gaga's lips in Applause. 

                                                    
3. Long menswear coat with red lips, white pants and beige sweater. It shouldn't flow but it just does.

4. OBSESSED with this dress. Looks like the previous coat. I really also like this gray jacket. This outfit mixes laid back and cocktail party. I LOVE IT!!!!

                                                  
 5. Old School Girl look, tartan sweat with long blouse dress.

6. Leather and Tweed. Two completely different things that look great together her. I like that the mans jacket has truth and the girls jacket says beauty. 

7. I'm so happy tweed is coming back. Obviously this is more modern styles, with the skater jacket and boyfriend coat. Also, I'm loving this tweed cape. 

                                                      
8. UGH SERIOUSLY WHY CAN'T I BUY THIS!!!! The colors are so beautiful. I'm a sucker for baby blue but this a little more rich and I love it. Also the top with the different flowers is so pretty. Ugh amazing.

 9. I also really want to buy this navy blue dress. ITs the perfect shift dress with the most gorgeous flowers on the bottom with different shades of blue and pink.

10. Once again the long/boyfriend/trench coat is turning up.I happen to really like this one since its short sleeve and big fitting. 

 11. Leather is great with anything, and I can't get enough of this simple half shiny leather dress. I could so see Ashley Tisdale rocking this.

12.Tartan is also becoming a big trend for fall. I really love the blue in the coat and how it corresponds with the teal and baby blues in the the cool skater dress. 

Everything in this collection is so unique and different and that's why I like it.

1. Love this peplum-lace-slit dress. Literally so many styles in one and it flows perfectly!

2. This is a Grammy Dress just waiting to happen. Like could you totally see Katy Perry or Fergie wearing this. 

3. This red is breathing taking and I could totally see this as Jennifer Laurence's Oscar dress, it would defininately compliment her dirty blonde pixie cut. Which she is rocking. This dress reminds me of her first Oscar dress. It was the same gorgeous red, it was sleek and sexy by Calvin Klein.
